I am a recently graduated architect originally from Prestatyn now working in London. At the end of August 2004 I was invited by the owner to put forward a proposal for the site and hotel building. I am currently working on my submission and am looking for a firm of hoteliers or restaurant chain to be involved as the main investor. My plan would be to demolish the 1980s extension and renovate the original hotel building, not to its original state but to realise its true potential as an incredible modernist building unique to North Wales. With the right publicity and financial backing I believe that this project will be a success.
